have you even heard those people that say they wont eat eggs because they are eating a baby chicken?
well this is not true

if you buy your eggs from a grocery store, they are not fertile. (unless however your grocery store sells fertilized eggs and you happen to pick it up and buy it)
so technically, you are not eating an undeveloped chicken

that is what every chicken egg on the inside [un-cracked] looks like
now if the egg were fertile, than that little white dot in the center (the blastodisc)on the side of the yolk would become the chicken, not the yolk
most people confuse the yolk for an undeveloped chicken, when the yolk is really what the chicken feeds on until it hatches.


now i wanted to know if there was a difference from eating fertilized eggs as oppose to eating un-fertilized eggs

Here in the U.S., almost all of our eggs are produced in large chicken "factories" where the hens have no access to males so all of their eggs are infertile. Free-range chickens may have access to males and these may be fertile. Hope you're not paying more for fertile eggs! If so, it's just a marketing ploy.


now, on the other hand i eat fertilized eggs because i have hens and rooster, but hell it doesn't bother me
